Customizing Tone of Voice
Configure Verbalist to generate content with your style.
Creating a Tone Profile
Go to Settings → Tone Profile and create a new profile. You can have multiple profiles for different brands or content types.
Reference examples
The most effective way to define tone of voice is to provide examples. Paste 2-3 paragraphs of existing content that represents your style. Verbalist will analyze and replicate the tone.
Text guidelines
You can also describe the tone in words: formal/informal, technical/accessible, direct/narrative. Add specific indications: "avoid jargon", "use practical examples", "keep sentences short".
Custom vocabulary
Define preferred and avoided terms. Example: "use 'clients' not 'users'", "don't use 'synergy'". Verbalist will respect these preferences during generation.
Applying the profile
During generation, select the Tone Profile from the dropdown. You can also set a default profile for each project.
Iterate and improve
If the result doesn't match the desired tone, add more examples or refine guidelines. The profile can be modified at any time.
