Best Practices
Tested strategies to get the best results from Verbalist.
1. Choose specific keywords
Too generic keywords produce less useful analyses. "running shoes" is better than "shoes". "running shoes for beginner pronators" is even better. The more specific the keyword, the more precise the patterns.
2. Analyze first, generate later
Don't skip to generation. Study extracted patterns: word count, structure, topic coverage. Understanding what works helps you evaluate and improve generated content.
3. Always customize tone of voice
A well-configured Tone Profile makes the difference between generic content and content that seems written by you. Invest time in initial setup.
4. Add your experience
Generated content is a solid base, not the final product. Add personal experiences, case studies, opinions. This activates E-E-A-T signals that Google rewards.
5. Cite authoritative sources
Verbalist suggests where to insert citations. Find real, authoritative sources to link. This increases trust for Google and for AIs that might cite you.
6. Keep content updated
Dated content loses ranking. Use Verbalist to periodically re-analyze important keywords and update content when patterns change.
7. Test and iterate
Not every content will rank immediately. Monitor performance, identify what works best in your industry, refine the process. Patterns that work for others might vary in your specific case.
8. Structure for AI
Verbalist generates content already structured to be understood by AI. Maintain this structure: clear headings, direct answers to questions, lists and tables where appropriate.
